She responsible for the overall strategy and management of ANB and coordinating and supporting the Board and all activities; together with other members of the Steering Committee engage with and align activities with relevant Government Ministries and agencies.

Mythri is an accomplished business professional with two decades of success in finance, corporate strategy, commercial directorship, innovation, ESG, sustainability and corporate affairs. Mythri was headhunted into the Botswana Stock Exchange listed Letshego Holdings Limited Group to lead its Group Finance operations in 2010, leading over 70 finance staff across sub-Saharan Africa.

Over the next decade, Mythri led several C-suite portfolios for Letshego Group including Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Group Chief Commercial Officer, Group Head of Special Operations, Group Head of Strategy and Sustainability, working with over 3,000 staff across the Group’s footprint, servicing 1.2m borrowers (including 850k informal segment borrowers). 

Prior to joining Letshego, Mythri gained over 10 years’ experience in the accounting and advisory profession, the last 7 of which were in senior management in KPMG’s Audit and Assurance division. Mythri has led assurance and advisory engagements for large and public-interest entities, mostly in financial services, manufacturing, retail trade and public services. At KPMG, her client portfolio comprised 70% of the firm’s audit revenue. 

Mythri now runs her strategy, ESG, corporate transaction and enterprise development advisory firm, Vetri Consulting, servicing clients across Africa from fintech, insurtech, banking to FMCG, super-app and social enterprise sectors. 

Mythri is an avid sustainability and private sector development advocate, with a focus on social enterprise, ranging from affordable housing to financial education, with a special lens on empowerment. To this end, she has invested her private capital into a growing buildtech business and many other startups. She also commits her time and resources to mentorship, community health, education and food security causes.

Mythri lives with her family in Gaborone, Botswana.
